Each Baking It Real Sprinkle Cookie Baking Kit includes

the following pre-measured ingredients:

  • Sugar

  • Almond extract

  • Flour mixture

  • Sprinkles

You will need the following ingredients :

  • 6 tbsp butter, softened

  • 1 egg

Gather your kitchen essentials:

  • Electric mixer

  • Cookie sheet

  • Medium-sized mixing bowl

  • Small bowl

  • Wire rack

  • (optional) #70 (1 tbsp) cookie scoop

  • (optional) parchment paper

Prep time: 30 minutes

Bake: 9-11 minutes

Makes: approx. 24 cookies / 2 dozen

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick cookie sheet).

Beat sugar (included in kit) and softened butter in a medium bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed for 2 to 3 minutes, until light and fluffy.

Mix in egg and almond extract (included in kit) on low speed until blended.

Slowly mix in flour mixture (included in kit) until dough forms, stopping mixer to scrape sides and bottom as you go.

Pour sprinkles (included in kit) into a small bowl.

Shape cookie dough into balls about 1 tbsp in size. For perfectly sized cookies, we recommend using use a #70 (1 tbsp) cookie scoop. This is a serious game changer and our little secret for Instagram worthy cookies each and every time.

Roll top 2/3 of each dough ball in sprinkles, coating the tops well with sprinkles.

Leave the bottom of each dough ball without sprinkles. No need to aim for perfection. As the cookies bake, the sprinkles will fill out the top of the cookie. This is a fun step for any little helpers you may have in the kitchen.

Place cookie dough balls 3 inches apart, sprinkle-side up on cookie sheet. We recommend layering the cookie sheet with parchment paper for even baking and easy clean up. And by easy, we mean you may not even need to wash the cookie sheet.

Bake 9 to 11 minutes, or until edges are golden. Carefully remove from oven and let cool for 1 minute on the cookie sheet.

Transfer the cookies to a wire cooling rack and let cookies cool completely.

While the first cookie sheet is in the oven, step-and-repeat making the next set of cookie dough balls, covering with sprinkles, and placing onto a second, cool cookie sheet. If you don't have a second cookie sheet, simply begin preparing your next round of cookie dough balls on a piece of parchment paper the size of your cookie sheet. Once the cookie sheet comes out of the oven and cools off, simply slide the parchment paper with cookie dough balls onto the sheet and place into the oven.

That's it! Now you can enjoy homemade Sprinkle Cookies.
